Groups and Clusters
We value local partnerships between churches and schools.
REinspired grew out of a Churches Together schools project in Earley and East Reading. The project was set up to work schools within the boundaries of the five Anglican parishes represented in CTEER: our community, our schools, our children.
That's why we value local partnerships schools and would not seek to work directly with schools outside this area on a long term basis.
Instead we encourage you to build relationships locally between churches and schools. Supporting RE in schools is an area where churches are ideally positioned to build those relationships.
That may sound daunting, but adopting our methodology and resources makes it straightforward - and we can provide you with any training and support you need to get started and to grow. By adopting our methodology you also give schools with the confidence to work with you - knowing that you understand the 'E' in RE is for Education not Evangelism and you are invited in on the basis of supporting education.
Several groups in the Reading area have already taken up the challenge to engage with schools through RE. You can read about them here. If you want to take up the challenge we'd be pleased to feature your local project here:
