Who we are & Our AimWe act to advance religion through education by enabling churches to support school communities in the religious education and spiritual development of their pupils.
Our aim is to see creative engagement with people of faith enhance pupil's spiritual development and RE.
What do we do?It's in the name. RE - Religious Education. And we think our approach is inspired. Using our methodology, ordinary Christians from local churches can easily and effectively help make RE an exciting and potentially life-changing subject in schools. RE - it's what we do and what we help others do.
Our Vision... is to see all pupils' spiritual development and religious education enhanced by creative engagement with people of faith in an educational framework.
We've seen this can bring Christianity to life and enable pupils to explore spiritual questions and find their own answers.
Mission & ValuesWe are building, enabling and equipping a network of like-minded churches committed to developing partnerships with their local schools to support RE.
Our Values include: Christian faith, education, partnership, creativity, diversity, inclusivity and growth...
Building partnerships & supportIf you like our vision for engaging with local schools through RE, share our values, and want to be part of the REinspired network we'd like to talk to you.
We can provide lesson plans, training, mentoring and much more.
Sharing the story...People who heard about REinspired by word of mouth told us what we did was too good to keep to ourselves. So we wrote our story down to inspire churches everywhere to engage with schools through RE.
It's now been published by BRF as The Story of REinspired. Read the story, benefit from lessons learnt and 'how to' advice to help you work with schools.
Registered users of this site can access additional customisable lesson plans and supporting resources. They can also share their experience of delivering the lessons.
We are keen to talk to churches across the country to find out the challenges they face and how we can help them build better partnerships with schools through RE.
'REinspired visits enable children to meet and hear people of faith talking about their faith. Faith moves from abstract to real.'Margret Ecede, Primary Teacher, RE Coordinator & SACRE member
